‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4, episode 3 preview: Will Kristoff persuade Elsa?

Elsa and Sven -At the moment, we’ve figured out that Elsa on “Once Upon a Time” has a few weaknesses: Things that are not cold, situations that confuse her, and also the power of logic to twist her mind.

In the latest sneak peek at the bottom of this article for Sunday’s “Rocky Road,” Kristoff pretty effectively convinces the queen to not go on her own rocky road to finding her sister Anna, mostly because she’s capable of doing okay by herself. Also, there’s a little something known as Arendelle falling into ruin in the event she leaves down. Remember that horrible dude by the name of Prince Hans? Well, he’s still around, and he is probably going to continue being evil … especially if Anna opts to leave.

Is it just us, though, or is one of the most jarring things about this sneak peek the simple fact that Elsa has her hair tied up? Was this a bad hair day in Arendelle? Admittedly, we’re also having a hard time still picturing Kristoff without the same proportioned face as in the movie. While watching that, we really wondered how he ever got some of his clothes on in the first place. (We know, we think far too much about these things.)

This sneak peek is further proof that, love them or hate them, “Frozen” flashbacks are the new “flashbacks with characters we’ve actually come to know over the years.” Maybe we will see more of those a little later this fall, but for the time being the writers still seem to be interested in setting up these arcs. Given the ratings, we’re shocked that someone over at ABC hasn’t already petitioned to make Georgina Haig a series regular.
