‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4, episode 3 video: Mary Margaret’s first Mayor’s meeting

Snow -On this past episode of “Once Upon a Time,” we first learned that Mary Margaret / Snow White was diving into the political world for the first time, but not exactly for the reasons of her actually wanting to be a politician. Instead, she was called upon more to be Mayor when Regina basically decided to step away from it all, and this means many advantages and disadvantages for Storybrooke.

The advantage? As the new peek via “Access Hollywood” below shows, Ginnifer Goodwin’s character is very much interested in establishing some sort of democratic society in Storybrooke, and even seems to be adopting the Franklin D. Roosevelt strategy of using a fireside chat. Unfortunately, what she also realizes is that too much democracy can at times lead to people screaming at one another, and very little actually getting done. She’s going to have to find that happy medium.

Unfortunately for her, this particular meeting takes an even larger turn for the worse when she realizes, right in the middle of her speech, that Maid Marian is passing out next to Robin Hood. This cannot be good.

The one thing that does surprise us above all are some of the crazy anti-Marian comments that are out there. Has she really done anything that bad? We want Robin Hood and Regina together, as well, but it doesn’t seem like she has done anything so horrible as be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Plus, her memories of Regina are justifiably not so great from the Evil Queen days.
