‘Blue Bloods’ season 5, episode 4 preview: Did Donnie Wahlberg’s Danny go too far?
After tonight’s very difficult (but also true in many ways) episode of “Blue Bloods,” we were curious about where the show was going to go moving forward. Well, that is made very clear with the title of “Excessive Force.”
Based on what we see in the synopsis below, Donnie Wahlberg is going to have a chance to play a tough story, as his character is facing a serious charge. As a result of that, Frank has to deal with the difficult struggle of the badge versus his family. Which one does he want to support? It’s not going to be an easy thing to figure out:
“When Danny is charged with using excessive force, Frank must decide whether to stand up for his son or for the reputation of his police force. Meanwhile, Jamie hits it off with a beautiful doctor after bringing a homeless man into the hospital, and Eddie can’t hide her jealousy.”
Maybe this is going to be one of the episodes that really sparks the Jamie / Eddie relationship in some way, and we’re excited to see that. If nothing else, maybe this will be a nice, lighthearted story to go along with some of the difficult stuff that is happening for Danny at the same time.
If nothing else, we do hope that the story continues to move forward and build moving forward to the November sweeps. That is where we really expect some truly insane things to be going down that we’ll be talking about for a while.
