ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 video: Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic search for the invisible man

Now, this is the “Castle” that we love! We have a murderer who seems to give into Rick’s frequent love of conspiracies, and for the time being, it seems that one of them may even be correct!

In the latest sneak peek below for Monday night’s new “Clear and Present Danger,” Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic are forced to act out of the more entertaining scenes we’ve seen them do. Basically, they have to play getting the you-know-what beaten out of them without there actually being an assailant. Sure, there is an “invisible killer” allegedly doing this, but knowing that “Castle” actually is not in the world of “The Flash,” there is going to be some sort of logical explanation for this … eventually.

Still, we may actually be pretty quick to side with Castle after something like this happens. Whoever this killer is, he or she was after a key card that the character was holding on to that is the only bit of valuable evidence in the investigation. Luckily, Rick was able to salvage it … but ended up handing over his credit card in the process. Let’s hope the killer doesn’t decide that they want to go on a shopping spree in 5th Avenue next.

We know that many prefer the serious episodes with all the character development, but these fun stories tap into so much nostalgia for us, growing up watching silly mysteries and even cartoons like “Scooby-Doo.” These are the ones we’ll come back to months after they end.
