‘Chicago Fire’ season 3, episode 2 preview: Reporting for familiar duty

The “Chicago Fire” season 3 premiere was not an easy one to watch, and that started from its opening minutes. You lost a beloved character in Shay, and the consequences of this death are something that is going to continue to play out in the weeks ahead.

While you will see some of these ramifications specifically on the next new episode airing Tuesday night, this is not the only thing taking place. Instead, there will be more of the characters doing some of what they do best, and that is being heroes to the people that need them. In the video below from NBC, you can see many work together in order to properly rescue a family in a dire situation.

Is this the most spoiler-heavy preview that you have ever seen? Mostly likely, far from it. Still, we feel like it is important from time to time to issues some reminders about what “Chicago Fire” is as a series first and foremost, and that is a show about what these people try to do on a regular basis to help out the residents of the city. Sometimes they are successful in moments like this one, and other times, things unfortunately do not go their way.

If you come back a little later tonight, then you are going to have an opportunity to further see what lies ahead for the series. Be sure to stay tuned for a little bit more of that! We want to be your source for all things “Chicago Fire,” all season long.
