‘Boardwalk Empire’ season 5, episode 4 preview: Can Nucky, Margaret come together?

Another new episode of “Boardwalk Empire” is airing on HBO come Sunday night, and this is one that we feel is going to be especially significant. Finally, we will get more of a sense as to why these Nucky flashbacks are so important after what we had tonight. Not only that, but Steve Buscemi’s character in the present will try to work alongside Margaret to get themselves into a more stable position. We actually thought that Nucky was going to be in great shape going into this season, but that fortune has changed pretty quickly.

“Cuanto” is the name of this episode, which probably ties in well to the fact that Cuba and money will both be key parts of this episode. HBO has already released a lengthy description, and if you look below, you can see just what to expect:

“Facing a shared dilemma, Nucky and Margaret find common ground in Atlantic City. Luciano encounters an old adversary while meeting with Capone (Stephen Graham) in Chicago. Sally Wheet (Patricia Arquette) makes a payment in Cuba amidst concerns of a grass-roots uprising. In 1884, young Nucky shows young Eli (Oakes Fegley) how the other half lives, and takes another step up the Commodore’s ladder.”

We are very excited to see how this story wraps up, but there does need to be some significant action in the next new episode. Sunday’s installment may have had some gunplay, but for a shortened final season, not enough is happening at the moment.
