MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 4 spoilers: Jenna’s latest exploits revealed in latest trailer

Come Tuesday, September 23, “Awkward” returns to MTV to finish off its fourth season, and it looks like we really do have quite a bit to look forward to when it comes to the story.

One of the big highlights you can expect to see is some sort of further movement in the Jenna / Matty romance, but it may not happen in the way that you first think. Instead, there may be a ranking of the guys in Palos Hills that finds both Jenna and Tamara in trouble. These two love their schemes, and we could see plenty of that play out in the coming weeks.

In addition to this story, there are also a number of other threads that you may want to pay close attention to, including trying to figure out what in the world is going on when it comes to Sadie, and some of the other supporting characters that make this show as fun as it is.

With this all being said, there is still a very critical question here that needs to be answered: When is this show going to hear? The trailer below makes it clear that they are two-thirds through senior year, and with that trajectory, you would think that this season would be ending in graduation … maybe. Maybe there is a plan for the show after graduation, but what we would like to see here is that if the show does end, we’d like some confirmation in advance rather than a swift cancellation after the fact.
