‘Criminal Minds’ season 10 spoilers: Thomas Gibson and the mystery text message

While “Criminal Minds” did not provide a whole lot of cliffhangers at the end of season 9, there is one that you may be very curious about going into the season starting this fall: What in the world was in that text message sent to Hotch?

Well, the good news is that it will not take a whole lot of time at all to find out this answer. Speaking to E! News, Thomas Gibson confirms that “you’ll find out what [the message] says” on the upcoming season, and that “it’s important.”

Of course, “important” could be a variety of very different things. It could mean a game-changer for the BAU, for Hotch’s personal life, or for something else entirely that we may not entirely expect.

There are as a whole plenty of other great stories that you can very much look forward to on the new season of the show, including something very interesting that will happen almost right out of the gate with the new character of Kate (played by Jennifer Love Hewitt). Hopefully, these stories will all come together very quickly, and make for a season that will be fun and exactly what we hope for it to be.

This season will premiere on CBS come Wednesday, October 1. the only reason that it will take that long is because “Survivor” and “Big Brother” are each going 90 minutes the prior week for their premiere / finale event. Hopefully, we’ll have much more news before that time.
