‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ spoilers: Latest preview a real tongue-twister

Now that “American Horror Story: Freak Show” has unveiled one of its first teaser videos, you better prepare for this to start to become a recurring theme. FX really likes to churn some of these out!

This newest one is entitled “Lick,” and we would be lying if we said that this was the most-dramatic one that we’ve ever seen. The most that we will say about it is that it did catch us off guard. At first, it looks like the man licking the lollipop has an ordinary tongue; then, you realize that it is actually split in half! Shocking … or is it?

Given the theme of this show, you had to assume that this was going to be coming up at some point. This would probably have us much more surprised were it not for the fact that we have already seen things like this on other shows many times over. That is going to be part of the challenge of this season already, given the fact that we’ve watched AMC’s “Freakshow” over the years, and therefore have already seen many of the things that Ryan Murphy and company are going to try and shock us with here. (We do have to stop and give Murphy credit here for a second, given that he first posted the video below on Twitter.)

The new season of the show will premiere on FX come Wednesday, October 7, and the one thing that we really are hoping for is a story to match all this drama.
