‘The X Factor’ USA: Fifth Harmony reveal new ‘Reflection’ album cover

Fifth Harmony -After some reflection … it is only appropriate that Fifth Harmony reveal the brand-new cover for their upcoming album “Reflection.”

So why the sudden change? It has to do with the “X Factor” stars actually sitting down and listening to some of their fans and what they had to say. They didn’t like the old cover (which you can see below), which probably tried a little too hard to push the “attitude” label even if it was pretty colorful.

ReflectionMeanwhile, the new cover (above) is much more in line with what seems to be the group’s new style, and attempt to be an urban pop group. Their new single “Bo$$” is currently within the top 40 of the pop radio charts, and has held on pretty well there without a whole lot of publicity compared to some other artists.

What is the biggest surprise to us at the moment, though, is strictly the fact that the ladies still do not have an album out at all. Instead, what they have is the “Better Together” EP that they released last year, which contained much more of a teen-pop sound than what they are going for right now. Ultimately, all of this transition feels like the result of what can happen when you have a newly-formed group off of a singing competition; they need time to find their style and sound, and if given that, they will eventually blossom into what they were intended to be all along.

This album will debut a little later this fall, and of course, we will have more updates as we get closer to it coming back out.
