‘Community’ season 6: Check out the epic new tease on Yahoo Screen

Yahoo Screen really wants you to know that “Community” is coming on their service soon … and they also want you to know that it is going to be everything that you want and then some. How else do you explain the new video that the company has put on the air?

If you look below, then you can see what we would describe as a pretty epic representation of the show’s promotional efforts, and not to mention a celebration of the past five seasons. The video even seems to visually represent season 4 very well as the “gas leak season” that it was. There’s also plenty of Troy Barnes footage thrown in here for those who miss him as much as we do.

The reality here is that there is zero footage out there for “Community” season 6 to even show right now. The series has not started production yet, and there are still even rumors regarding whether or not Yvette Nicole Brown will even have a full-time role anymore thanks to her joining the CBS version of “The Odd Couple.” Filming will begin a little later in the fall, with our personal expectation being that the new season will debut online at some point in the spring of next year. Anything else would be a very quick turnaround.

So while we are nervous about more and more people potentially leaving the show to do other things, we remain optimistic about “Community” for the time being. If nothing else, this remains very much one of our favorite comedies of the past five years.
