‘Big Brother 16’ review: Caleb, bunny slippers, Team America, an eviction, and a competition
Tonight on “Big Brother 16,” we saw Caleb compared what he did to Amber to prison and murder … seriously. That was only the start of tonight’s craziness, which was at a fever pitch when Caleb was told that Amber wanted to get rid of him. Watching Derrick freak out, while Zach was loving every second of it, was worth so many laughs.
Caleb’s meltdown was made even better by him tossing bunny slippers, which were actually Amber’s and he wore them because their shoe size was basically the same. Frankie and Zach set him up perfectly this week, and it was gold.
Now, we have to talk about Team America’s mission to send out hinky votes, and Donny refusing to do it because of the confrontational part of it. Ironically, Donny not doing the mission was his mistake more than him doing it. While it may have hurt his short-term game, the only reason he’s probably been safe lately is Team America. Don’t be surprised if Donny is speaking with Julie Chen soon.
Without this twist stirring up drama in the house, Amber’s boot from the game was beyond predictable. The vote was unanimous, and her interview with Julie Chen was pretty boring other than her learning from Christine that the Detonators are running the game now and that Caleb’s the next person to be evicted.
Unfortunately, the show has managed to not end its Head of Household Competition on the broadcast, which means that we’ll have to report soon on who actually won. Stay tuned, and refresh the page / check the sidebar for that article. We’ll be publishing it shortly. (Update: You can get updates here!)
