‘Halt and Catch Fire’ season 2: Does Lee Pace know renewal prospects?

With the finale for “Halt and Catch Fire” come up on Sunday night, there is of course a question that many are asking right now: What are the odds of season 2? We certainly understand why everyone is pondering over this, as well: The show is great! It’s the sort of thing that you would want to see on the air for many years.

Speaking to TVLine, Lee Pace admitted that he is still “itching” to figure out what the future holds for him right now, and that includes the possibility of a second season for the show. The man has a number of different possibilities at his doorstep constantly, and one brought up here is of course the idea of him eventually appearing on “Hannibal.” We feel like if “Halt and Catch Fire” is not renewed, this is something that could very easily happen, given the number of characters in that world and the connection that is there between him and showrunner Bryan Fuller.

We feel like the decision for this show will come from AMC within a couple of weeks of the finale, and we’re optimistic. The network renewed “Turn,” which was on at a time when more people were watching TV, and we feel like its ratings were not even as good. “Halt and Catch Fire” has been a solid hit with the critics, and it also presents something that is completely different and original from what is going on with other networks and programs right now.

How badly do you want to see “Halt and Catch Fire” come back for a second season? Let us know in the comments.
