‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 spoilers: Nicole Beharie on bond between Abbie, Jenny

We know that Abbie on “Sleepy Hollow” season 2 is not going to start things off in the best possible place. After all, she made the sacrifice to stay in purgatory so that Ichabod could use Katrina to try and stop the apocalypse in Sleepy Hollow itself.

With all this being said, how long do you really expect her to be there? We’re certainly not betting on forever, since it is simply not interesting to keep her apart from everyone. We’ve seen her relationship build with Icabod and also her own sister Jenny, and Nicole Beharie promises that when it comes to the latter, there are still many ups and downs ahead. Just look at her comments to TVLine on the subject:

“They’re a lot closer because they’ve faced the tribulations, and they’re learning more about their family — mom, dad, all that kind of stuff. But a few people step into the situation and put a wrench into it, and they end up butting heads.”

We’ve already heard that there will be much more in the way of Abbie backstory on the show this season, and you’re not just going to see her childhood through the lens of what happened to her that day with Moloch in the woods. We will have to wait and see specifically what all of these stories bring, but we’re excited to find out. Sadly, there’s no word yet on whether or not those who ship Abbie and Ichabod will have anything to be happy about soon.

This new season of “Sleepy Hollow” starts on Monday, September 22, and as we heard earlier this week, Jeremy Crane has a plan already to bring forth the apocalypse.
