‘America’s Got Talent’ review: Did Dustin’s Dojo, Paul Ieti, Christian Stoinev advance?

America's Got Talent -Tonight’s “America’s Got Talent” was just as eventful as what we had last night, but thanks to the busy schedule Wednesday night of other singing competitions and much more, we’re looking at a more condensed review this time around.

This time, we’re specifically honing in on some of the acts that made it through to the next round … but we will say first and foremost that regardless what happens, Dustin’s Dojo is one of our favorite acts ever. We get that they may not be the most talented pair of individuals ever, but it’s creative! We’ve seen a million of the same-old things on this show over the years, and they are something different.

It’s hard to keep track of everyone right now, but the likes of Mat Franco, Emily West, Juan Carlos … yes, that Juan Carlos? Seriously, we called this one when we said that the show would put through a deliberately terrible guy just for an easy boot.

Two of the performers in the title advanced … but no Dustin’s Dojo. This is the biggest travesty ever. Why get rid of original, funny entertainment for more singers? We don’t get Heidi Klum and Mel B not at least giving this a shot for America. Luckily, we still feel like there will be a wild card act at some point, and this could be where we end up ultimately seeing the two bringing their talent over to New York City. We can only hope!

Also, sending home Beach Avenue, one of our other favorite acts, makes us about a million times less excited about this season than we were going into it. We’re surprised about Mighty Atom Jr., but we’re not too angry over it given that we don’t know what else he could do.
