‘Suits’ season 4, episode 7 preview: What’s next for Mike, Rachel, Logan in ‘We’re Done’
From the moment that we first heard that next week’s episode of “Suits” was going to be entitled “We’re Done,” we knew that there was going to be trouble for someone. The biggest question was just who that “someone” would be.
In the end, it turned out that Mike and Rachel are the two that are completely on the cusp of falling apart. After all, she cheated on him with Logan Sanders, and while she could have taken it even further, she did enough for the damage to be done.
“MIKE is reeling in the wake of the Gillis Industries takeover battle, his investment banking career apparently over almost as quickly as it began. When RACHEL delivers even more troubling news, Mike makes a rash decision, leaving HARVEY as the last friend to whom he can turn. Meanwhile, in recognition of LOUIS’s victory for the firm, JESSICA lets him name his own reward – but choosing what to ask for proves more complicated than Louis first expects.”
The only person who could have a happy ending for the time being is Louis, mostly because everyone else seems to be in a complete based of “screwed over” at the moment. (This is, of course, assuming that nobody finds out about the illegal activity and his oversight.) Mike may have had a job offer, but it still doesn’t seem like the most desirable situation at all at the moment. Still, we applaud and appreciate the show for continuing to keep things fresh, and not resting on what they’ve already done.
With Mike now unemployed, the story could literally go in a dozen directions. This excites us greatly.

i want mike and rachel to split because she thinks he is and always will be a fraud, then I think mike should go back to cheating on exams and Harvey should then pretend to be one of his customers and swoop in and save him at the last moment

Tough to say how they should go, but if Mike goes back to his old ways, it would be difficult for Jessica, Harvey, Louis and especially Donna who has always tried to keep Harvey and Mike together to embrace him after all they’ve done to keep his secret safe. He’s got credibility now, going backwards I think would be a big mistake and the audience will lose interest quick.
What would make more sense is if Mike reluctantly went to work for Eric Roberts and used his $4 billion dollar net worth to build his own empire. After all, what does Mike want more than anything else at this moment – revenge, and he can get it by going toe to toe with Logan’s firm and Pearson – Spector. He should want nothing less than to destroy Logan and have the board who is already concerned about his leadership removed as CEO and gained the respect he so desperately wants from Harvey. Now that’s a story line that could take and entire season to make happen!

Its time that Harvey and Mike get back together and kick some ass and really hard. It has been a long time since they did this. I guess that will push TRPs up for the show.
