‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Nick Viall, Josh Murray meet Andi Dorfman’s family
Monday night marks the grand finale for this season of “The Bachelorette,” and is also therefore a big opportunity in order for us to see whether or not Andi Dorfman is really able to find somebody at the end of this crazy journey.
While we’ll have some further scoop about the end of the series, and the “After the Final Rose” special, in the near future, today we’re putting the focus on another important event that we see just about every year on this show: The men meeting the parents. We already know that Andy’s father is among the most terrifying people alive, so it’s safe to say that this is going to be very interesting. For some more details on this, just take a look at the official ABC synopsis below:
“The family is first introduced to Nick who is determined to ask Andi’s father for permission to marry his daughter. But things get off to a shaky start when the usually confident bachelor is almost tongue-tied when he faces his potential in-laws. Will he be able to convince them that he is the only man for Andi?
“Josh is next, but will his quick wit and easygoing charm raise a red flag rather than win over Andi’s family? Andi’s dad is right on target when he says that Josh is the kind of guy Andi falls for but never settles down with. Can Josh win their approval and prove to them he is ready to marry their daughter?”
We can’t really pick a clear winner from either one of these, since so long as neither guy completely blows it, they should each be fine. The larger issue that we’re thinking about here is that Andi is going to most likely just choose whoever she justifies as being the right person in her mind. If she picks Josh, for example, then she is just going to claim that he was worth the shot even though this is typically the sort of guy that she dates.
