‘The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All’ spoilers: Marquel Martin, Andi Dorfman talk it out

There is probably not a single other contestants on “The Bachelorette” we are more excited to see on tonight’s “Men Tell All” special than Marquel Martin. He has the charm, the sense of humor, and also the personality to be a major personality on the show … or the next “Bachelor”? We can probably only dream when it comes to that.

We know that he is going to get an extended amount of screen time on the show tonight, and in the sneak peek below you can see him in particular press Andi Dorfman with a few questions about why he was in the friend zone and why he didn’t get a one-on-one date. We feel like she mostly dodged the questions being thrown at her for a couple of reasons, with the biggest one being the simple fact that Marquel was trying to be romantic with her, in between the cookies and some of the other conversations. We also buy his explanation that the only reason he didn’t ever kiss her was because he didn’t know that she was already off kissing a bunch of other people.

Marquel comes off really well here, and we feel like Andi would have been better had she just said that in their early conversations she didn’t feel a spark, and she only wanted to give one-on-one dates to guys she felt had a serious chance. We hate to say this, but recent history does seem to show that the trajectory for most minority contestants on the show these days (Catherine Giudici excluded) is that they last for a few weeks, then are eliminated three or four episodes in without a lot of alone time with the lead.
