‘Supernatural’ season 10 spoilers: A fanfiction concept for 200th episode?

If you’ve ever been online looking at fanfiction, then you surely know that there is a practical library out there for stuff pertaining to “Supernatural.” This show has some of the most devoted fans, and we’ve seen from them many times over an imagination.

So with all this in mind, maybe the show is looking to pay a little homage in their upcoming 200th episode. “Fan Fiction” is the title for the episode, and showrunner Jeremy Carver tells E! News that there will be some sort of musical component. Also, look for this episode (the fifth one of this season) to really break the mold and do something different:

“I think it’ll be one of the more amusing and engaging episodes we’ve done in a while. I think we can safely call this a meta episode … We’re going pretty meta. I would just describe it as something of a love letter to our fans and there will be songs.”

We’re beyond excited to see what the team comes up with, since this is most definitely a show that owes quite a bit to the people who kept watching year after year. There were times many seasons ago where we never knew if this was coming back or not, but because the viewers and The CW stuck with it, it feels like it is now in that rare air of shows where the cast and producers decide when it ends.

Also, we’re excited because the show typically does these experimental episodes very well, at least provided that Sam and Dean are front and center for it.
