‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5, episode 7 preview: Lucy Hale’s Aria and Eddie Lamb

For most of “Pretty Little Liars” (or at least the part that he has appeared in), Eddie Lamb has come across as a fairly benevolent man who works at Radley Sanitarium. He’s the closest thing that Spencer had as a friend during her time there, and he also was at least a source of some information in the past.

Unfortunately for Spencer, she’s learned that there is one subject out there that turns Eddie into a clamshell: Bethany Young. He’s not into talking about it, which in turns suggests that there is some grand secret that he is hiding. We know that there are some ties between her and his past, and it may be up to someone else to discover them: Aria.

In the sneak peek below from Tuesday night’s episode, Lucy Hale’s character is going to attempt to do what she can to start to snoop around the sanitarium. However, it doesn’t take too long for Eddie to find her, and consequently ask a very interesting question: Have they met before? Her presence may cause him to be on eggshells, which in turn may cause her to have a much bigger challenge getting the information that she wants.

At the end of the day, we feel like Eddie is the sort of character who could end up being evil, if for no other reason than that the majority of the bad guys on the show are the ones who are not parents or series regulars, and therefore can be expendable. Just look at Shana, or to a lesser extent Detective Wilden and Officer Garrett (though he wasn’t completely bad at all).
