‘Criminal Minds’ season 10 spoilers: Thomas Gibson, Joe Mantegna to both direct

For “Criminal Minds” season 10, we are starting to think that there really could be a lineup forming at the director’s chair when it comes to cast members who are going to be stepping into this role.

At this given point in time, you would probably just go ahead and assume that Matthew Gray Gubler is going to direct, given that he typically does. TVLine reports that he will actually be doing a pair of episodes for this coming season. Meanwhile, Thomas Gibson and Joe Mantegna are also going to be taking on this duty once again after having done it in the past.

All of this to us is exciting, but it is hard to really start letting anticipation boil over until we find out a little bit more about the specific stories that the two parties are going to helm.

Just in case all of this is not enough to get you stoked about season 10 just yet, here is another scoop from the website: For Garcia, she is going to be struggling with her own actions having to shoot the nurse who almost took Dr. Reid’s life. She will try to clear her own conscience and start to look forward by returning to Texas (the site of the event) in the new season. Unfortunately, there’s no guarantee (and there never is) that such a move is really going to make a difference when it comes to her personal psyche.

“Criminal Minds” will be returning to CBS in September, but we’re going to have plenty more news on the show before that time!
