NBC’s ‘Grimm’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Orange Is the New Black’ actress signs on

Grimm -One of the actors from “Orange Is the New Black” is going to be transferring from the world of prison to a world of very creepy things that go bump in the night.

While there may not be a whole lot confirmed (or really anything) about her character right now, “Grimm” executive producer Norberto Barba confirmed on Twitter this week that Elizabeth Rodriquez will be coming about the NBC series for a role in season 4. Given that she already has a job, we cannot imagine it being such an enormous role that it precludes her from doing anything else. Still, it is probably going to at least be an interesting part to look out for.

Rodriguez has an extensive resume that far goes beyond the Netflix original series. She has appeared in recent episodes of the Starz drama “Power,” is well known for “All My Children,” and is one of the many stars of “Orange Is the New Black” to have made some sort of appearance on an edition of the “Law & Order” franchise.

Like with some other past seasons, you’re going to be waiting a while for “Grimm” to premiere. The series does not begin until Friday, October 24, and one of the reasons for that is that NBC likes to wait until closer to the wintertime so that there are fewer people going out on Friday nights, and they may be interested in sitting down and watching an episode of their TV show instead. They are going to ultimately draw pretty good numbers from DVRs either way.
