‘Community’ season 6: Cast, creators to make another Comic-Con appearance
Given the uncertain fate of “Community,” we spent much of the past several weeks questioning whether or not the show was going to be heading back on the air for another season.
However, this question changed to something else pretty important when the season 6 renewal over on Yahoo! was first announced: Whether or not the show would be able to head to San Diego Comic-Con for another year. This show has been a staple there for years, and for so many reasons. It’s hilarious, offbeat, and basically perfect for the entire San Diego audience. Plus, we’ve seen creator Dan Harmon do cosplay just as recently as last year.
Here is the news that we can tell you for now about the “Community” panel this year. The date will be on Thursday, July 24, which is somewhat unusual given that this is one of the quieter days of the convention. Maybe this was intentional thanks to the fact that the show was picked up so late? It will still be in a pretty massive venue in Ballroom 20, which we consider the second-largest room of the entire convention other than Hall H.
As for who will be turning up, that part is still a mystery. We would assume that Harmon would be back, along with as many cast members who can make the trip down. Once again, though, we wonder if the delay for a renewal is going to cause there to be fewer people in attendance. We hope not, but we shall see.
