‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3 spoilers: Nicole Gale Anderson promoted to regular

How is this for something that you may have not seen coming?

Even though we have not seen her on “Beauty and the Beast” in some time (though she will be appearing on Monday night), Nicole Gale Anderson has just landed herself a rather sweet deal on the hit CW show. According to a brand-new report from Deadline, the actress will be promoted to regular for the upcoming third season for her role as Catherine’s sister. This is in the end a rather nice full-circle moment for the actress, given that she was originally a regular for the pilot, only to be bumped down to recurring when the series actually started. One of the reasons why she was not very present in season 2 was thanks to her part on the “Pretty Little Liars” spin-off “Ravenswood,” which was canceled earlier this year after a single season on the air.

You can obviously take this promotion as some sort of sign that Cat’s sister is going to be sticking around after her appearance this coming week; it is either that or there will at least be something that happens that allows her to be a bigger part of the show. We find this mostly interesting given that the show is not a ratings monster by any means, and yet they were able to find money for another full-time salary.

One thing that we are interested to see is what the status for Sendhil Ramamurthy (Gabe) is going to become if he makes it through this season. It is possible he will not and the show will start anew, but we will have to wait and see when it comes to that.
