‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5 spoilers: Alison’s adjustment process

Life for Alison DiLaurentis on “Pretty Little Liars” season 5 is not going to be easy. While she can celebrate the fact that she is no longer in hiding, there may still be some times in which she wishes that she was. After all, there are still many mysteries that exist, and people who may potentially want her dead.

We will be seeing some of this play out on the second episode of season 5, which carries with it the title of “Whirly Girl.” Based on the new synopsis from ABC Family, Sasha Pieterse’s character is going to struggle with being back, and especially being back around some of the family members she doesn’t quite trust:

“With the events of New York behind them and back in Rosewood, the Liars are unsettled to still be living under a cloud of secrets. Aria is haunted by the recent past events, while Emily, Hanna and Spencer try to wrap their head around the new normal. Alison, on the other hand, is still sleeping with one eye open as she is forced to stay at home with her family – who she doesn’t trust. 

“Meanwhile, Jason’s odd behavior and Kenneth DiLaurentis’ search for Jessica starts to raise eyebrows about her disappearance. “

This is obviously a clever little move on the network’s behalf to not even mention Ezra in the press release, that way there is still some sort of mystery regarding whether or not we are going to see him beyond the premiere. Given that the idea of him dying would be both sad and a detriment to the show, we’re holding on to the belief that he finds a way to survive.
