‘The Originals’ season 2 spoilers: Will Elijah or Klaus be Hayley’s hybrid mentor?

Now that Hayley is a hybrid on “The Originals” there are so many story possibilities for season 2 and one of the burning questions on everyone’s mind is: Who will be Hayley’s hybrid mentor? Will it be Klaus or could we see the pairing that many fans (but not everyone of course) want to see which would be Elijah helping Hayley?

Phoebe Tonkin spoke to TVLine about her new role on the show as a kick ass hybrid and how the idea of getting a set of fangs is crazy exciting for her. She said: “I’m so excited, they’ve already fitted me for fangs. I’ve always wanted to play a vampire, so I couldn’t be more thrilled.”

As for which vampire is planning on taking Hayley under their wing and showing her the ropes… well that was a question she was a little more coy about answering. She doesn’t want to give away too much, and wouldn’t want to plant ideas in our heads about that Elijah/Hayley pairing just in case it doesn’t happen. She said: “It’ll be interesting to see who she strikes up relationships with during this journey. Maybe she and Klaus could form an unexpected friendship.”
