‘The X Factor’ USA alum Alex & Sierra tease ‘Scarecrow’ music video, lyrics

It was not that long ago that you first learned that the first single for “The X Factor” alum Alex & Sierra was going to be entitled “Scarecrow,” and you now have some further news to go along with that very announcement: More on the upcoming music video, and also some lyrics to the track via Instagram!

The first thing that you should know is that anytime that someone starts to put some lyrics out there to a song and shoots a video, it means that the debut of the single is not that far away. This means that the wait is at least closer to being over! We’ll obviously have a little bit more on that as time goes by, including a take on the song when it is released.

It may be hard to judge a song based on the lyrics alone, but it does feel already like this duo is being positioned very well into the sort of lane that they should be in, and that is something they could find some success in depending on a few factors. Some of it is the quality of the songs, and then there’s also marketing. Hopefully, Simon Cowell and company still roll out a promotional tour for them, even though “The X Factor” in America is no longer a thing.

If you’ve been thinking that the wait for new music from these two is long, just remember this: Most artists have at least a year or so to go through the process of preparing for an album. They’ve done everything that they can in about half of the time.
