‘Two and a Half Men’ season 11, episode 20 video: Alan finds a new ‘job’

“Two and a Half Men” has tackled so many shocking and perverse ideas over the years, we are personally still surprised that this one never emerged as a serious subject of conversation until now: Alan as a pimp.

It’s just about as disgusting as you would imagine it to be. Walden finds himself a new category of women, and then Alan starts to bankroll it in an effort to actually have some money coming in for a change. Deplorable as it is, at least Alan’s having some sort of passion for something … right? Well, just saying that alone made us want to throw up in our mouth a little bit.

This story does still seem worthy of a laugh or two, but does not resolve the larger issues at hand, including whether or not Alan is ever going to come clean about his alternate persona of “Jeff Strongman” to Larry. It’s likely that he will by the end of the season, but we hope that it’s not drawn out for so long that it ruins the comedic impact of what Larry does when he learns that Alan used to be with his now-fiancee Lyndsey … and that she has cheated on him a number of times with Alan since they got together. We’ve been waiting for this moment a long time, and therefore really don’t hope it is screwed up.

Regardless, we know already that there will be a “Two and a Half Men” season 12, so there is more time to explore this and some other stories, to boot.
