‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3, episode 19 preview: Glinda the Good Witch arrives

Tonight on “Once Upon a Time,” we had an episode that turned out to be in the end a pretty romantic one. You had Regina and Robin Hood actually having a romantic moment for a change, and you also had Rumpelstiltskin only kissing Zelena out of strategy, thinking that it was going to help him get the knife back and get closer to Belle.

In the end, that didn’t happen … and the Wicked Witch is still very much still on the loose. A part of next week’s new episode is going to focus on the search to try and destroy her, and also at the same time an attempt to protect Snow and Charming’s baby.

While this is happening in the present, there are also going to be a series of important things that also happen in the past. After all, you have the arrival of Glinda the Good Witch to the show, albeit via flashbacks as the likes of Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas’ characters try to figure out whether or not she can actually help them. The problem is that Zelena is a very powerful witch, and at this point may be even more capable of destruction than any other mage out there. There are only a few episodes left until the end of the season, though, and you have to expect that this equals drama … and plenty of it. Will Zelena survive until season 4? It is certainly possible, but with a plan like the one that she has, we have a pretty hard time believing it to be so.
