‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7, episode 21 video: Sheldon and a psychic

“The Big Bang Theory” is back with all-new episodes on Thursday night. Not only that, but Sheldon is going to experience “anything can happen Thursdays” in a way that he will no be particularly thrilled with.

One of the greatest pieces of evidence of this can be found in the promo video below, mostly because it features Sheldon at one of the places where you would not typically imagine seeing him in a million years: A psychic. This probably has a little something to do with him feeling completely lost in his job, and tired of chasing after something in string theory that is not really giving him any tangible results at all.

Do we expect to see something good come out of this from Sheldon? Eventually, he may learn to find what he is actually passionate about … but until that time happens, we most just expect him continue to be belligerent and very hard for the others to deal with. After all, this is what he is mostly known for at this point in the show’s life.

Who knows? Maybe “anything can happen Thursday” will turn into “something great will happen Thursday” for Sheldon, but we have to say that compared to the much-episode episode featuring “Star Wars Day” and Bob Newhart airing a week after this one, it’s hard for a story revolving around a psychic to be anything that interesting by comparison. Given that there are only a few episodes left this season, let’s hope that this one is a little more than meets the eye (not to throw “Transformers” into this by any means).
