‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 spoilers: Another creepy Zelena – Rumpelstiltskin photo

After much debate, we have come to the realization that the goal of some of the “Once Upon a Time” producers with the upcoming episode “Bleeding Through” is to give us nightmares. Or, to give Rumpelstiltskin nightmares. It’s one of the two.

Ever since we first saw that photo of Robert Carlyle’s character kissing Rebecca Mader’s Zelena, we shared in your internet outrage! What in the world was going on? The easy speculation is that he is still being controlled by the dagger, and therefore forced to do some really uncomfortable stuff. If that is the case, we do have to say that it’s pretty dark for this show, and they will be hurting their show credibility if they don’t address at any point some of the obvious psychological issues that would come out of this. Wouldn’t you be messed up in the head if this sort of thing happened to you? We have to imagine so.

Who knows, though? Maybe Rumple does have his own control back, and this is all part of some elaborate game … or he’s playing her … or it’s a dream sequence. There are about a million more likely scenarios that we can see playing out than possibly ever
