‘The Good Wife’ season 5, episode 18 preview: First video of Michael J. Fox’s return

The latest -Where does the story on “The Good Wife” go from here? The show has probably already seen its most shocking event take place of the entire series, and the goal now has to be something a little different: Just trying to find a way to line everything up again after seeing the death of Will.

But, we’re not a few episodes removed, and therefore moving on seems to be on the menu. The next new episode of the CBS series is entitled “All Tapped Out,” and if you look below, you can get some more details of what is coming up in this hour:

“Florrick/Agos takes on the case of an NSA whistleblower, only to learn that the agency has been monitoring the firm as well as Alicia’s personal life. Meanwhile, Diane faces the difficult task of working alongside Louis Canning when he joins Lockhart/Gardner. Also, Alicia goes after the State’s Attorney when he attempts to make Finn a scapegoat in the Jeffrey Grant case.”

Both the synopsis and the attached promo below do a great job of highlighting one thing above all else, and that is the return of Michael J. Fox as the Louis Canning character. Now that his NBC show is canceled, he does have an opportunity to do some other things like appear here … and based on what it looks like, he’s going to be spending quite a bit of time feuding with Diane as the firm tries to figure out its future. (Doesn’t Louis feud with everyone?)
