‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7 spoilers: Wil Wheaton returns; a console debate

Big Bang -We know that Wil Wheaton appearing on “The Big Bang Theory” is hardly new or surprising, but we still cannot help but get excited every time we see him. He brings such glee out of Sheldon, and also such a different energy than the rest of the cast.

But what is surprising about the first photo of Wheaton from the show’s April 3 return “The Indecision Amalgamation” is that he is not even shown with Jim Parsons. Instead, Wil is out having coffee with Penny and Leonard, and his resting facial expression is either indecision or boredom with what is being talked about.

Rather than try to spend the rest of this article trying to pen some sort of analysis of Wheaton’s facial expression, we’ll instead to you what we know about this episode. Decisions are a key part of it, and for Penny, she has to decide whether or not she wants to take a role on what she feels is a pretty cheesy acting gig.

Big Bang Theory -As for Sheldon, he is struggling from a choice that appears superficially to be much more frivolous: He has to figure out whether or not he wants to purchase a PlayStation 4 or an Xbox One. He at least likes the Xbox enough to pick it up, but decisions can be a tricky one.

Granted, we can make the argument that this story is a little bit unrealistic in that for most gamers, you do most of the research on the internet at home, and then go to the story and pick one up immediately. Maybe Sheldon made the rookie mistake of going shopping while still undecided, and now he must suffer the consequences. (We’re still shaking our finger at him for not picking one of these up on launch day.)
