‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10, episode 17 preview: Sandra Oh’s Cristina looks ahead

“Do You Know?” is not an ordinary episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” season 10 by any means. It’s going to be the one that quite possibly serves as the impetus for how Cristina Yang moves forward, and possibly what ends up driving her away from the Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital and into a new life. After all, the character is leaving the show at the end of this season.

Before we do anything else when it comes to talking about this episode, let’s go ahead and share the official synopsis below for this big hour:

“Cristina imagines the two routes her life can take based on one decision she makes. Meanwhile one of the hospital’s patients decides whether or not to live.”

Are we excited for this one? Sure, but mostly because of the fact that we are interested in seeing Sandra Oh completely kills it like she always does. What we are a little less excited about is the idea of having to prepare ourselves for the end of her time on the show. Most of the season, we have been able to put off feeling like the end is near, and we don’t really feel like we are going to be able to do that much anymore.

Luckily, there are going to at least be a good many episodes that end up airing on ABC before we get to her final installment … which will not be until the season finale. So take that as your last bit of solace, along with the fact that Shonda Rhimes and the writers are sure to go all out in order to ensure that this is the best hour of TV possible.
