‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: First look at Andi Dorfman in role

While ABC may be keeping an incredibly tight lid on their upcoming season of “The Bachelorette” starring Andi Dorfman, we are very pleased to report that there is at least the first real image out now of her in the role! Basically, this photo contains just about everything that you would expect for it to … mostly in the form of a  the leading lady and a bunch of roses (which we wonder if they are hurting her hands at all).

The only thing that really stands out from this photo? Mostly the Angelina Jolie-esque leg movement at the bottom. The rest of this actually quite a bit like an image that we would have seen from Desiree Hartsock’s season. Where’s the originality there, ABC? Then again, they tried be original by casting Juan Pablo Galavis, thinking that it would bring a flair of something different and fun to the franchise. Do you see how well that worked out? We learned through that all about how important tradition is to this show, and that seeing the same thing over and over again actually can appeal to a crowd.

At least Andi has on the surface to be both familiar and exciting, given that she is assertive, has a backstory, and has already shown that she will have no problem at all telling a guy off for being a loser if that is what he is. We just hope that there is not going to be any storyline this time around revolving someone with a girlfriend at home, or anything else that feels ridiculous or staged in any way.

This season will probably premiere in either late May or early June, literally not long at all from when Andi actually finishes her season. Let’s just hope that it ends a little bit better with an “I love you” or two.
