‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 gets two-hour finale; ‘Castle’ season 6, other dates set
ABC just unveiled their full list of season finale dates, and if you are a particularly big fan of “Once Upon a Time,” there was one interesting nugget of information released here: The show is getting a two-hour sendoff for season 3! We imagine that this is something that the producers have been aware of as a possibility for some time, mostly because they would’ve known back in January that thanks to the way that “Revenge” was scheduled, this could be necessary in order for the shows to end at the same time.
While there are few other notable aspects to the full list of ABC finale dates below, (save for “The Middle” getting an extended finale), they are still worth referencing in case you want to make sure your DVR is set in advance. Take note that all times listed here are Eastern, and are regularly-scheduled unless otherwise noted.
Thursday, April 3 – “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland”
Friday, April 11 – “The Neighbors”
Thursday, April 17 – “Scandal”
Friday, April 25 – “Last Man Standing”
Sunday, May 4 – “Resurrection”
Sunday, May 11 – “Once Upon a Time” (two-hour finale) and “Revenge”

Tuesday, May 13 – “Agents of SHIELD,” “The Goldbergs,” and “Trophy Wife”
Wednesday, May 14 – “Suburgatory” and “Nashville”
Thursday, May 15 – “Grey’s Anatomy”
Friday, May 16 – “Shark Tank”
Sunday, May 18 – “America’s Funniest Home Videos”
Tuesday, May 20 – “Dancing with the Stars” (starting at 9:00 p.m. Eastern, likely two hours)
Wednesday, May 21 – “The Middle” (one-hour finale), “Modern Family,” and “Mixology”
Some of these dates are still subject to change, but we feel like pending some breaking news, they will stick. We could consider “Scandal” ending so early to be a big thing, but it’s mostly thanks to Kerry Washington’s pregnancy that the episode count was reduced. Hats off to ABC for not just extending the show until May and giving us another hiatus for no reason.
