ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 3 spoilers: Fitz drama, and ‘We Do Not Touch the First Ladies’

Take another look -It’s not often that you get a “Scandal” title that is as explicit as the one that we have shared above, but that is also in a way what makes it so interesting. You know that whatever is being said here involves the Mellie character, but at the same time, you have to guess who is saying it. (We are just assuming that someone does, since the exact quote is not any sort of reference to a song or anything else in popular culture.)

This episode will be the one that follows “Ride Sally Ride” (the February 27 return of the show to TV), and will air on Thursday, March 6. The synopsis below teases that there is going to be something significant (and dramatic) happening in the life the Vice-President, and in addition to that, there are also some teasers about Quinn finding a place for herself, and Sally continuing to fight the good fight (or at least what she believes to be one). Check it out below:

“Old feelings and jealousies arise at a Presidential event causing Fitz to face a harsh reality. Meanwhile, Quinn tries to prove herself to B613 and Leo Bergen sets up a meeting between Sally and an old friend.”

Given the news that there are only eight episodes the rest of the season to accommodate Kerry Washington’s pregnancy, expect a ton of ground to be covered in this hour. That is really saying something in a way, given that “Scandal” episodes do tend to constantly cover a lot of ground.
