‘Two and a Half Men’ season 11 spoilers: Does Alan still have a shot with Lyndsey?
Just when you thought that the entire “Two and a Half Men” season 11 story for Alan and Lyndsey was going to be over for the time being, it is going to be set to come roaring back yet again for the new episode airing on Thursday, February 27 entitled “Cab Fare and a Bottle of Penicillin” (which is a title that really goes in line with almost everything else that the show puts out there).
Rather than even making some sort of attempt to try to beat around the bush, the show basically spells out the entire big plot coming up in the official synopsis below:
“Alan gives Lyndsey the option of choosing between him and Larry. Meanwhile, Jenny fears she and Brooke are growing apart.”
Is there any way that this story is going to be over soon? At a certain point, you would figure that Larry is going to find out about this whole “Jeff Strongman” charade … but not for at least a little while longer, given that we know that another alum from “According to Jim” is going to be joining Courtney Thorne-Smith on the show, and playing another possible Alan love interest. How Alan as a character manages to have two love interests at all is really beyond comprehension.
As for the other story teased in this synopsis, is this just yet another sliver of evidence that the writers for this show really have no idea what to do with this Jenny / Brooke relationship … or just Jenny in general? They’ve really written the character into a box, and it’s a bummer, given there are so many more interesting things for her to talk about beyond just sex and booze. (Yes, we also occasionally had the same problem with Charlie Harper.)
