‘NCIS’ season 11, episode 15 preview: Emily Wickersham featured in ‘Bulletproof’ photo
At the moment, “NCIS” is in the middle of yet another one of its short hiatuses, which is something that it has become known for in the first few months of the year. As a means to ensure that there are still new episodes to air come the May sweeps, such breaks are necessary; not only that, but they are probably for the best right now, given the last thing the CBS series really wants to do at the moment is try to go on some sort of collision course against the Winter Olympics in Sochi.
The show is going to eventually end up airing its next new episode “Bulletproof” against the games come February 18; but, by that time they may be hoping that at least a few people out there may be starting to look elsewhere after having Olympic fever for quite a span of time. We did post the synopsis for this episode previously, but here it is again if you have not seen it:
“After uncovering faulty bulletproof vests in a truck filled with stolen U.S.M.C. merchandise, the NCIS team attempts to locate both the source and any vests that had been shipped to military personnel overseas.”
Now, doesn’t Bishop look official in this brand-new photo? She was formally appointed to be an agent on this past episode “Monsters and Men,” and she definitely looks the part here in the signature hat, gloves, and badge. Hopefully, there is some sort of bridge of trust that has been created between her and Gibbs, and that is going to last through the remainder of the series.

You people all sound so negative! Bishop is now a part of the “whole team” and will blend in. All others will be getting their fare share with Bulletproof and all following episodes.
Also, nobody seems to be commenting on what is going on with Gibb’s life. It seams very clear to me that the ground is being laid for him to have a new girl friend, or maybe even a new wife!!
I hope to see more basement time!

If cbs is so stupid as to continue with this bishop stuff, not listening to the thousands of comments daily ON THEIR OWN FB PAGE railing against not only bishop but the way the whole show is going, I can’t say I will feel sorry for them when MW does not resign for next year. I don’t know who is responsible. Is it cbs? Glasburg? The producers? whoever is needs to wake up and listen to the fans. The high ratings will not last forever.

I felt that the last episode “Monsters and Men” would have been a storyline better suited to Ziva. She is Israelis and former Mossad so it would be more believable for her to have crossed paths with a character like this. My biggest critic of Bishop is her age. She is a twenty-something supposedly with all this experience. She would be more believable if she was over 30.

As long as this blonde horrible character is on my once favorite show I won’t watch an episode of NCIS. This is torture not entertainment!
Get this horrible chick off the show or within a year or two NCIS will be history!

Well, I think that is Mark Harmon’s plan Tom
His company is producing NCIS New Orleans. I think their plan is to dump these group and to get another younger group
What Mark doenot get is it was the CHEMISTRY of the TEAM that we all loved about this show. With the addition of Bishop – that is gone now !

….oh, m, I think that they have become very smug and arrogant about the 20 million ratings. Someone should tell them there is NOTHING and NO ONE against them on Tuesday night – so it is a given – the other networks should also get a clue !! I HATE THE BISHOP SHOW !!!!

Yet ANOTHER Bishop-centered episode. Like others have asked… why not just dump the other cast members and make this the “Ellie Bishop Power Hour” or better yet “Sharknado III: The Bishop Chronicles?”
Yet anti-Zivaites complained about how the show had become so Ziva-centered.

Quite right Terry, Ziva haters use to complain about how she was taken over the show, where are the same people that that use to harp on about Ziva, why are they keeping quiet about Bishop taking over the show, it’s all B/S GG and CBS are forcing this character onto the fans, it’s either like her or go watch something else, that’s GG and CBS’s way of thinking.

In the last episode, it was hard to see what she did to earn Gibbs’ trust. From what I could tell, she mishandled everything about the case, helped get two Marines killed, and had to be rescued by Gibbs. Her integration into the team has been ridiculously forced. If our favorite characters were still themselves, they would show some real resistance to a new team member. However, I have little hope for that.
