‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: See Jaun Pablo Galavis, Nikki Ferrell, and a test of fear

Oh, how we were so tempted to title this article “The Bachelor: Juan Pablo and Nikki go to Hell.” The “Hell” that we are actually talking about here is a name for a famous cave, which is situated at the bottom of a massive gorge that Juan Pablo Galavis is going to make Nikki Ferrell repel down on Monday night’s new episode.

If you are wondering just whether or not this is romantic, here is an answer for you: It’s not. What part of being terrified sounds romantic to you? This is what we don’t quite understand about these sort of dates. There is a certain part of you that does want to take risks and try new things on a date, but there is being adventurous, and then confronting one of your greatest fears … and make no mistake that these dates were set up in a way that the woman on the date would be reasonably afraid of heights.

The sneak peek below (via Us Weekly) gives you the full spectrum of what you can expect, for better or for worse of what that may be. To be fair, we have also seen a good many people freak out about this way more than Nikki does; our favorite line is that she has figured out that either she is going to live, die, or “poop her pants” if she goes through with doing this. Somehow, she seems to think that the latter is some sort of latent state that is neither living nor dying.
