‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5, episode 11 video: Now with a Paul Wesley introduction

Clearly, we have a very intense situation right now when it comes to Katherine’s future. After century after century of finding a way to stay alive, she is going to be in danger of actually dying this time around. She may not survive to the end of the episode, and Stefan is in turn one of the few characters who is genuinely concerned about her. He has seen her do almost anything and everything to survive over the years, but sometimes, your past really catches up to you.

If Katherine does go out in this episode, hopefully she finds a way to do so in style. The main interesting thing that would come out of it would be that Elena would actually be the only character that Nina Dobrev would have to play for a while. While there has been talk about another doppelganger, nobody else has shown up on screen for the time being. Instead, it just goes back to everyone actually being the same person that they look like … a novel concept within the world of the show at this point, given everything that these characters have been through.
