‘Suits’ season 3 spoilers: Rick Hoffman, Gina Torres on new circumstances

“Suits” may not be back on USA until March 6, but there really is no reason to sit around and wait until then to get some hints on what could be coming up. The final six episodes of this season have a specific arc to them, and much of that is going to be based around something really simple: Trying to figure out whether or not there is a way for Mike Ross to get out of his present predicament with Louis Litt. He is very close now to losing everything courtesy of the information Louis knows, and just one wrong move could mean the end for him.

So what does the actor response for all this anxiety have to say? Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Rick Hoffman made it clear that whatever happens moving forward is going to have some pretty huge ramifications:

“There is resolve but in a smart way. The writers created a much deeper, more dangerous type of situation. It’s not something that gets played over and over again. There’s a very serious threat of deceit.”

Meanwhile, Hoffman’s co-star Gina Torres also opens the door, and makes some of her own thoughts on how things may become more and more dramatic and intense as time goes by:

“Every season you go deeper and deeper in this world of deceit, and the relationships get deeper. It’s not just, here’s this smart dude pretending to be a lawyer. We’re invested in all these people … We have a great deal of respect for them. The stakes continue to get higher.”

The real issues with Mike is that sooner or later, it feels almost inevitable that almost everyone who matters is going to find out about him, and then he has to deal a little bit with what happens next as a result. This is a guy who we feel like could lose everything, and it could happen quickly.
