‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10 spoilers: ‘Akeelah and the Bee’ star Keke Palmer to guest star

“Grey’s Anatomy” has found itself another patient-of-the-week story in a young actress who was at one point taking multiplexes by storm.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Keke Palmer, best known for “Akeelah and the Bee,” is going to guest star in an upcoming episode of the ABC medical drama as a pregnant teenager being treated by the doctors of the Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital. Not too much else at the moment is known about this character, save for that you are going to see her grace the show at some point in March.

The casting of Palmer in this role is really yet another example of “Grey’s Anatomy” looking to take on some oft-controversial topics on the show, along with sharing sometimes the consequences of various actions. If you were to ask us, we would figure that the ramifications that this story could have on this character could be way more terrifying than just a typical episode of MTV’s “Teen Mom.”

As for what are going to be some of the long-term storylines that are worth checking out when “Grey’s Anatomy” returns to TV, one of the biggest ones is going to be trying to see just what happens next with April and Jackson. Away from that, though, there is quite a story regarding the Meredith and Cristina, especially given that Sandra Oh is leaving the show at the end of the season. They need to continue cultivating that story so that when she does leave, it is as emotional and appropriate for her journey as possible.
