‘True Blood’ season 7: Catch Alexander Skarsgard disrobing … in the snow … again
Alexander Skarsgard has over the years shown that he has no problem shedding some of his clothes. What’s the reason for that? He has cited at times being a free person, and also that his Swedish heritage makes it such that modesty is generally not a big deal.
So following the actor showing off a whole lot of Skarsgard during the season 6 finale of “True Blood,” where his character Eric Northman felt the power of the sun while surrounded by snow, he decided to spoof that in a way during a recent trip to Antarctica.
In a new photo posted to Instagram late Tuesday, you can see Alex at it again, with the only difference this time being that he is sitting on a toilet pretending to read something while in the buff … despite the temperatures being such that this recent polar vortex really isn’t going to seem like anything at all. It’s a pretty funny way to send up the other “True Blood” photo, and it also led to a joke from the poster of the photo that maybe he is reading his script for the upcoming seventh season.
There are a number of questions that immediately come to mind after seeing something like this:
1. Is Alexander crazy, or just extremely tolerant of cold weather?
2. Where in the world did they get a toilet outdoors in Antarctica?
3. Given that this trip happened last month, why did it take so long for the photo to be uploaded online?
