‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ family okay after car accident

While Georgia may be protected somewhat from the terrible winter conditions that others are facing around the country thanks to this surprising winter weather, that does not mean that the roads are necessarily fine all of the time. For more on that, you just have to check out the story below about some of the stars of TLC’s “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.”

According to a report from TMZ, the family at the center of the show, including Sugar Bear, Mama June, and the star Honey Boo Boo herself (otherwise known as Alana Thompson), were involved in a car accident on Monday night when they were supposedly struck by a car while attempting to turn at a green light.

Luckily, the news coming out is that the family are all okay. Despite paying a visit to the hospital, the biggest injuries reporting are a back contusion, some sprains, and overall some bumps and bruises. Honey Boo Boo herself suffered a headache after banging her head, but is apparently doing just fine.

This entire clan broke out back in 2012 as big-time reality stars, and have been known for being some of the most crazy people to ever appear in the genre. While you may have strong opinions about certain parts of their lifestyle, what they have clearly succeeded at in our book is finding a way to ensure that the entire clan stays away from the bright lights of fame and keeps most of their money for down the road. Clearly, they have seen how quickly fame faded for most of the “Jersey Shore” cast and for another famous TLC family in the Gosselins.
