‘The Tomorrow People’ episode 9 video: ‘Death’s Door,’ and the winter finale

Want to see some crazy stuff go down on the season finale for “The Tomorrow People“? As it turns out, you don’t even have to wait until the episode airs tomorrow night to figure out some of the details. This is an installment entitled “Death’s Door,” and that could be a very literal title when you consider what we have for you in the sneak peek below.

Basically, the easiest way to put this is that John gets tortured … and it looks pretty painful. When you think about it, this guy has been put through more this season than probably anyone. He’s got that past with Jedikiah, his girlfriend cheated on him with Stephen, and now, he is being tormented. This is going to be a real test of his courage, and his desire to keep everyone else safe. Do we think that he’ll be successful there? At least in terms of not letting too many of the major characters die. We’re still very early on in the show’s run, so we cannot see too many major deaths happening just yet.

What could make this episode a little more significant is seeing just how it changes the game when it comes to the Ultra / Tomorrow People relations … if it even changes things at all. We still expect them to be at odds, but in the wake of what happened last week, the people with powers have to try to find a way to secure their home for the many episodes (and possibly seasons) to come.

After the end of this episode, there will be a little bit of a wait. But, don’t worry too much: “The Tomorrow People” will return with new episodes in January.
