‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: A big event for Colton Haynes’ Roy Harper in midseason finale
Are you a fan of Roy Harper? Then know this about the end of this fall season of “Arrow“: Something pretty significant is going to happen to him that could change the course of his entire future.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Roy is just one of two characters that will go through significant events during this episode. What will his involve? All we know for now is that at the start of the episode, he is going to be in quite a perilous position courtesy of Brother Blood, one of the major Big Bads for the season. From there, it will be interesting to see just what happens to him. If he were able to figure out the identity of The Hood, for example, that would be a big change. That also would put him in a tough position with Thea. He’d want to tell her, but at the same time doing so could cause her to be much more in harm’s way than ever before.
One other interesting thing here to consider is that for quite a while now, speculation has been that Roy will someday become Speedy, Arrow’s sidekick-of-sorts. But at the same time, does this show really even need a sidekick? We’re not quite so sure about it, mostly because he has Diggle in this world. Also, he spent much of the time in the first season referring to Thea as Speedy, but that has been one of those things from early in the series that has since been somewhat forgotten about. (It’s almost like the original actress playing the Sarah Lance role.)
What do you want to see take place during the “Arrow” fall finale, and do you think that Roy could end up becoming the newest person to learn the identity of Oliver’s alter ego? Share below! Also, click here real some more scoop about Barry Allen, and the end of the fall season.
