‘The Tomorrow People’ episode 8 preview: Russell’s big mistake

If there has been one goal of “The Tomorrow People” throughout the first eight episodes of the show, it has been trying to find a way to keep the people with powers away from the people who are trying to capture them. So what in the world happens when these two groups collide? The best way to explain is that complete and utter chaos unfolds.

In the sneak peek below from Wednesday night’s new episode, you can see what happens when a fight breaks out between Jedikiah and Russell, and how this eventually leads to the two parties accidentally warping together back to the famed hideout of the Tomorrow People rather than Ultra. This is what we make to call a “critical error.”

The clip stops before you really get a chance to see what happens next, but you can more or less assume that this is not going to be good. Instead, it’s sure to be pretty horrible as the group tries to figure out what to do with the man. One hope is to transport him away before he figures out everything, though you could also try to keep him and hold him hostage. Remember, there is also one member of the group in John who has quite the capacity to kill, and he could really wreck some havoc with him if Stephen and the others allow it. While this could make tensions a little easier for the immediate future, that’s about all that it would do. Remember here Ultra is far more than just one man, and there would be another that would crop up in a tiny amount of time and take his place.
