‘True Blood’ season 7 spoilers: Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard are pushing for WHAT?
Warning: The following “True Blood” scoop may lead to you potentially fanning yourself. You see, this is a show that likes to push the envelope, occasionally even to the point where it does things that don’t make any sense except in the land of fanfiction. The idea of throwing two straight characters into a love scene with each other has to qualify as one of those things. The show has already done that at times courtesy of dream sequences (see Jason and Warlow), but apparently two of the actors have been pushing for it to happen in the show’s actual reality.
Speaking to The Huffington Post in a new interview about the upcoming episodes, Stephen Moyer, who is a busy guy thanks to “The Sound of Music Live” coming on NBC next week, said (possibly in jest) that he and Alexander Skarsgard have been looking for a way to strip down together:
“Alex (Skarsgard) and I have been pushing for an Eric-Bill love scene for a long time, but they always said no. But our dream would be for my football team, West Ham United, to play his Swedish team, and would end up in some match-up that Bill and Eric happen to be able to get to.”
Moyer was kind enough to also share a few extra details, including that the new season will start shooting in January, and despite him directing the first episode, he still has no real idea at all what the story is going to be. He did say that shooting the end is in some ways a “sad” experience, given everything that the cast has been through. But personally, we feel like its time, and it could have even been time during season 6. At least the end of this past summer’s season started to really propel the show back in the direction that it needs to be, and that is telling stories that really have all of the characters involved in them.
This is not the first time this week that we’ve had news to share regarding Skarsgard’s story this week; we also shared that producers are casting a new character to play a love interest for Eric, who may be pretty well burned to a crisp based on the way season 6 ended.

This is old news. If your a fan of True Blood then you know that Alexander and Stephen have been pushing for this for a while.
I’m against it. Maybe I don’t see the chemistry there; I see chemistry in the hate between Eric and Bill but when it came to their sudden bromance I felt it was awkward, forced, and unnatural. Besides that Eric can do so much better then Bill. Talk about a downgrade.
I’m just done with Bill anyway. Enjoyed him in seasons 1 and 2 but during season 3 you really see HIM; he’s a man who hides who he is to either get what he wants or destroy what he doesn’t. And he’s hardly ever punished. His horrible actions are excused over and over again; and the thought of them going back to ground zero really bothers me. Sookie just needs to cut that cord loose and let him go. I thought it would have been a lot more interesting had he died in season 5 or even season 6. Hell there were many chances for it.
I’ve never been worried for True Blood like I have for this season. That time jump was horrific, out of character, and just down right the worst 20 minutes or so I’ve seen from any True Blood finales. I usually hate ‘it’s a dream’, but someone needs to wake up and stop that nightmare.

And here we have Buckner complaining that to have Eric come back as the same character we all love, how it would be an incredible cheat, but having Bill all of a sudden be good, after all the crap he has done, god they are morons. It cancels out all of the storyline written up until this season, last season’s ending was ridiculous.

He is so full of crap. Pushing the story back to the beginning, What a load of bull. But with the constant moaning and groaning of certain cast members, it was bound to happen. Telling the story with all the characters except Eric of course. Had to keep him away from the main story lines, because he is the ONLY reason to watch this show, has been for some time now. Not the precious Bill and Sookie which became gag worthy some time ago.
