‘True Blood’ season 7: Rutina Wesley pulling for Pam and Tara
While there were many good things that happened on “True Blood” season 6, one of the most controversial aspects of it was that we were teased a story involving Pam and Tara based on the season 5 finale, only for us to see very little of it in the end. There is something still likable about this couple, but at the same time, one of the biggest hurdles that they have to take on is that for the entirety of her vampire life, the only person that has really owned Pam’s heart the vast majority of the time is Eric.
While it doesn’t necessarily guarantee that these two are going to be getting together in the final season Rutina Wesley has made one thing very clear about her character’s relationship with Kristin Bauer van Straten’s: She’s a fan. Appearing on “HuffPost Live,” here is what she had to say on the subject:
“They are a good couple, Pam and Tara. It’s nice because Tara sort of brings out a side in Pam you don’t always see. I think Pam has met her match when she’s with Tara.”
Is Tara going to have some drama of her own to handle that doesn’t even have anything to do with Pam? Given that we are going to see quite a bit more of her mother on season 7, you better believe it. She is going to be battling some significant ghosts of her past this time around, and also figuring out where her relationships stand with everyone who is not serving as some sort of love interest.
